To combine my two favourite places into one wedding is massive bonus for me, so starting my day photographing the bridal prep in Woolacombe, at a property with one of the best views over the bay before heading off to the Tunnels was a sure sign of one awesome day ahead.
With the girls hair already expertly done by the team shine it just just the make up and final touches to be applied. I couldn’t believe how calm Bex was too, very chilled, just how it should be. I think having such an close group of friends as bridesmaids helped though..
Before I knew it the wedding car was arriving, my cue to head to the venue to catch up with Jim.
The sun was shining and as I walked out the tunnel, I could easily be forgiven I was photographing a wedding abroad, not in North Devon, stunning..
The ceremony, accompanied by some beautiful readings took place on the terrace, under blue skies and a the lapping of the waves, just perfect.
Before I knew it Bex and Jim has said the “I do’s” and were walking back down the aisle to a cloud of bubbles, so cool.
As the tide had now dropped back, we made the most of the private beach at the Tunnels, to get some fun bridal party shots and some stunning couple portrait shots. I know I am biased but I love love love the shots around the ladies pool, so picturesque.
As the sun set we were able to head back down to the beach for one of favourite shots of the day, the WOW sunset shot and tonights certainly was a WOW one.. The clouds just looked amazing setting the couple up perfect against the backdrop.
The evening entertainment was courtesy of the very talented Hot Hats duo.. A firm favourite of mine who had the guests up and dancing.. Such a great night.
As my time with Bex and Jim drew to a close we lit the sparklers for some fun shots, I love photographing sparkler shots, it’s always great to see peoples reactions when I show them the back of the camera..
Bex and Jim were some awesome clients who’s wedding I loved photographing. Thank you so much for asking me to be your wedding photographer.
Huge love and congratulations to you both..
Enjoy the images
