I first met Nat and Chris meet at a previous wedding, then again at another and by the time our paths crossed at a post wedding party where I had the photobooth I knew that shooting their wedding was going to one crazy day which will be up there in my list of top weddings.. And I was right.
Despite the british weather being very british, it didn’t dampen the mood or the fun..
For this wedding I called upon the help of my second photographer Stuart who flew all way from way up north in Scotland to come help me out for the weekend.
I started my day with the bridal prep around at the bride’s parents house. Stuart headed on into the village to get some shots of the boys arriving.
With the arrival of the wedding car it was time to head my favourite church and home of the amazingly lovely Anne, who is a vicar like no other I have meet. Just look at the shot of Anne as she walked up the aisle in front the bride and her dad, well more like the one after she passed he!!!
After a pretty emotional ceremony it was short drive to the beautiful venue of the Saunton Sands Hotel, over looking Saunton beach.
Unfortunately the weather still wasn’t on our side but with ample room inside the hotel the guests enjoyed drinks and canapes before sitting down to an amazing meal as ever.
After the meal it was time for the speeches, which were hilarious.. So much so I still chuckle over the best mans speeches now!
Before the evening entertainment got under way we were able to make use of the grounds and get some more shots of the bride and groom and even head down to the beach for a moody atmospheric should be sunset shot!
As the evening drew on, the party got in full swing, a great local band rammed with energy and talent kept everyone dancing until late. Also my ever popular photobooth was on hand for more entertainment of the non-dancing variety..
This was one amazing day despite the weather. Stuart and myself wish you both all the very best for the future.
Enjoy the images.
