Harriet and Simon – Tunnels Beaches Wedding

Huge illuminated letters, Percy Pig and a giant deck is pretty much what sums up Harriet and Simon’s amazing Tunnels Beaches wedding. But of course there was so much more to their but those things are what stick out to me..

As ever the Tunnels was stunning. I don’t think I will ever tire of the view, the location or the atmosphere on the day.

My day started up at the Epchris hotel with Julie from Changing Faces Beauty, working her magic on Harriet and her bridesmaids. It’s always a pleasure to work with Julie and her team, such professionals.
As Simon was getting ready in the same venue I was able to pop up and see the boys and capture some groom prep images, something I don’t often get a chance to do but love shooting them.

The short drive down the hill to the venue was tasked to Mr Bo-Jangles and his convertible Beetle, unfortunately the rain had started to fall, but it didn’t dampen the day at all and was short lived.

The rest of the day was spent relaxing on the terrace and soaking up the views the Tunnels has to offer, which as always were stunning. The sun shone, the drinks flowed and everyone enjoyed the day.

Harriet and Simon were very keen to get as many photo’s of themselves as possible so we used the great weather for several portrait sessions, the first after the ceremony on the ladies beach and again after the meal on the main beach, but this time with a stunning sunset and a giant deck chair.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the party got into full swing, kicking off with a beautiful, intimate first dance on the terrace then a conga line up to the main dance floor inside.

What an evening of dancing.. But now that the sun had set, we took one more opportunity a few last portrait shots up at the entrance to the tunnel.

From here I bid the couple farewell and left them to party the night away.

Huge congratulations and thank you for asking me to be your wedding photographer.
