Although the wedding season has been in full swing just recently with me shooting 5 weddings over 8 days and one of those was in St Andrews, Scotland, I have still found time for a few other shoots too.
Jodie and David are getting married at the Tunnels Beaches in Ilfracombe later this year, so it was great to catch up a few weeks ago and go through the finer details of their day and to get their complimentary engagement shoot done.
Like most couples Jodie and David were a little nervous about the shoot, but that’s fine as these shoots are designed to put any fears or worry behind you so on the wedding day you can be more relaxed plus you will know that I can take amazing images of you.
We chose to meet up on the burrows for the shoot and just take leisurely walk around the giant dune there, but it was clear that David and Jodie soon got into the swing of the shoot and wanted to explore the burrows some more and were happy and comfortable for me to keep shooting away and I am so glad that we did as the more we shot the more they became comfortable in front of the camera and I feel this is very obvious in the final images.
The processing of the images is a little different from my normal style but listening to Jodie and David and what they wanted to the images to looks and feel like and also their personalities I feel this processing work really well with the images and them.
After such a great engagement shoot I now can;t wait to shoot their wedding later this year.
Enjoy the photo’s and please feel free to leave any feedback
