A sunny Sunday, just the perfect start to Natalie and Andrew’s Woolacombe wedding a few weeks back. With a ceremony and drinks reception at the impressive and magnificent Woolacombe Bay Hotel it would be rude not to make the most of the grounds, and we did just that.
The day started in possibly my most favourite rooms in the whole hotel, the Loft, a simply stunning room with the best view of the beach. As time pressed on the bridal prep was nearing the point where I duck out (putting the dress on), I found the lads in the bar having a few shandies!! And a lot of laughs.. After a few pictures on the lawn I left them to get Andrew to the ceremony room whilst I picked up Natalies side of the day again.
The ceremony was held in the Lundy View suite and what amazing views and light it has. After that it was out to the lawn for drinks, nibbles and loads of photo’s.. Keeping the formal shots to a minimum I always like to capture the informal candid shots rather than make people pose for hours on end..
As the afternoon wound up it was time to switch venues and take the short stroll up the road to the uber cool Bar Electric, Rob and Edd made sure the outside area was comfy and inviting so guests enjoyed the remaining afternoon sun sipping drinks and chatting.. Such a wicked place with some seriously good food too.
As the sun began to set it was down to the headland in Woolacombe for some of favourite shots of the day.. I need not add anymore to that.. I think you can guess which those are.
Then the evening entertainment began. First up was Sam and Sam with a beautiful set which set the mood for Anna Banana to take over and keep the guests dancing until the end…
Huge congratulations guys and hope the second reception at home went well… I wish you both all the very best for the future.
