Despite living in Toronto, James and Sarah chose Sarah’s home village of Loxhore for their wedding with a reception at the amazingly artistic venue of Broomhill Arts Hotel, a place that changes each vist I make there.
Bridal prep was at the Brides Mum’s house in Loxhore, whilst the boy made use of the local football pitch for a pre-wedding game.
The day was the start of the recent fine weather so having access to the ground of Broomhill was a massive bonus and we are able to escape at times for some beautiful portrait shots.
The evening entertainment was from a local ceilidh band who ensured the guests kept dancing all night. Also in the evening I was introduced to a fine Canadian treat of Smores. This super tasty snack involves Grahams crackers, marshmallows, chocolate and a fire pit. You have to try them..
The following day James and Sarah had arranged for a family walk and lunch from Hunters Inn down to Heddons Mouth Beach. I was asked to come along and capture some even more informal family shots of the walkm as it would be a while before the whole family were together again..
On the day I had the back up of my second shooter greg and new addition to my team Andy who is my resident videographer now. Having the guys around on the day allowed us to capture even more of James and Sarah’s day.
You can check out the wedding film below.
Huge Congratulations James and Sarah and I wish you both all the very best in the future and thank you for introducing me to smores…
