Where do I start with this little e-shoot session. Well Nick and Jenna are a great couple and I have known Jenna pretty much all her life with us having grown up in the same village, so I was stoked to be asked to shoot their wedding. With a new addition to the family, “Kodi”, more on her in part 2 of this post, the couple were keen to get the e-shoot done pretty soon before she grew up too much. A trip across the dunes and onto the beach at Woolacombe was the order of the day. A cracking day, warm, sunny and some surf made for a great back drop for the shots. We had a great session getting loads of good images despite Kodi making a new friend! Can’t wait to shoot their wedding later next year now. Now meet Kodi.

Personally I like my dogs to be from the whippet, lurcher, greyhound variety but Kodi is very cute and at 14 weeks is going to be massive when she is fully grown. She was a live wire on the beach, chasing anything that moved and digging holes when we stopped. I have never seen a malamute before meeting Kodi but on the beach that day we meet another full grown version of her. I tried to say “hi” to that one but got covered in slobber and sand, thank goodness for the weather proofing on my camera. Right enjoy the pictures, I’m off to edit some more shots.

  • Karen Woodman - Great photos Matt, finding it hard to choose a favourite. What am I going to be like with the wedding photos!! Thanks for making Jenna and Nic feel so at ease, they had a great day. Karen xxReplyCancel

    • Matt Fryer - Stoked you like them, that is always my second worry after whether the future bride and groom like them is that the Mum’s like them too. But I can rest assured now. Really looking forward to big day.ReplyCancel
