Michael and Amy got married in the stunning church at Chulmleigh, the village where Amy grew up, then it was a quick drive onto the amazing Saunton Sands hotel, in North Devon for the reception. I have been toying with the words for this feature for a few hours now and I’m not sure how to say it. Ok, sometimes at weddings you may get one or two of the bridal party who like having thier photo’s taken or can hold a pose, but to find all of the brides maids (and a grooms maid, sorry Phil) are actors and comfortable in front a camera just made this wedding simply amazing to shoot. But not only was the brides side of the bridal party a joy to work with but also all of the grooms best men and ushers were up for a laugh and almost played up for the camera. When we headed to the beach for a few private shots with just the bride and the groom they all followed and I am so glad they did, the beach and poolside strobist shots are up there in my most memorable ones to date. A couple of highlights from the day was the inclusion of magician to entertain the guests before the wedding breakfast and a casino for the evening entertainment. Michael and Amy are lovely couple and I honestly didn’t want to leave the evening do as it was just much fun. I wish them all the very best for the future. Congratulations guys.
