It’s been a while since my last blog post buy no means does this mean I have been shooting fewer weddings, far from it. Currently it’s so busy I am struggling to keep up to date with my blog posts, so with about 8 weddings in the pipeline to blog I thought today would be a good one to share with you all Chris and Sophie’s, World Inspired Tent Wedding at Larkstone in Ilfracombe. The first wedding at this venue to date!!
The day started a little soggy but it didn’t dampen the spirits of the couple. They got married at the beautiful village church in Berrynarbor and left the church via Porsche 911 Targa, which Chris had rented for the weekend.. What a way to leave the church and a stylish way to transport you new wife to the reception venue. I was only mildly jealous, honest!!
This was my first Tipi wedding reception and I certainly hope it won’t be my last. They are so cool and so deceptively spacious.
With the Tipi firmly anchored on one of the lawns at Larkstone and it’s stunning views out over Ilfracombe and the Bristol channel, the business of celebrating Chris and Sophie’s wedding was the order of the day.
With food and drinks supplied by the Dave and amazing team at Larkstone and music courtesy of Soul Train the party went into over drive. Such a great location and such a great party.
Thankfully, even though the weather wasn’t that great throughout the day, around sunset it broke and we were treated to a stunning natural light show. Something I love to utilise and make the most of.
Huge congratulations to Sophie and Chris and I wish you both all the very best for the future, wherever it takes you both.
Enjoy the photo’s and please feel free to leave any feedback
